Stay calm, apologize sincerely, and move the conversation offline. Never get defensive — future customers judge you by how you respond:
Dear Michael, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we’re sorry your experience fell short. Your concerns about the arrangement are important to us, and we hold our flower shop to a high standard. We’d welcome the chance to make this right — please contact us directly at [phone/email] so we can resolve this personally.
We’re really sorry to hear this — that’s not the experience we want for anyone at our flower shop. This isn’t like us, and we’d love the chance to make it right regarding the arrangement. Please give us a call at [phone/email] and we’ll take care of it. 🙏
